Thrill The World Toronto is aiming to raise money for the Daily Bread Food Bank - we're doing this by asking participants to donate $10 on the night (and anyone else who wants to donate is welcome!).
By setting up a spectacle on this scale - worldwide AND simultaneous - we hope to attract the attention of the media, both locally and nationally and make Thrill The World's 3rd year it's biggest ever - until next year!
Everyone can help make this event so big and so popular that we can set a record, maybe even beat Austin, Texas where, for Thrill the World 2008, there were over 800 Zombies lurching through the dance!

From 6:30pm we will be registering participants - the first 200 people to register get a $5 Starbucks Card.
From 6:30pm we will be walking through the whole choreography from start to finish to make sure that everyone knows all the changes and steps. The walk through will continue until 8:15pm.
At 8:15pm registration closes and all participants gather together in preparation for the performance. Stewards will ensure that everyone has registered and is ready to go. The audience wil be coralled to give the dancers all the space they need.
At 8:25pm all participants will get into their start positions (basically, lying down on the floor as if dead!). Thrill The World Toronto connects with all events worldwide to synch up. The countdown begins.
At 8:29pm everyone becomes quiet and eerily still as the last few seconds tick away. The countdown is broadcast from 8:29.49...

IT'S THRILL TIME!!
...a door creaks open, there is a crash of thunder and we hear lone footsteps echo...
So what can you do to help spread the word? Here's some cool ideas for themes...
Zombie Horde of Directors
If you work for a company that has a good-sized staff, you can encourage them to join you to represent that company at Thrill the World 2009 - Toronto!
The plan is simple - get yourself trained to do the dance as soon as possible (email info@ttw09toronto.com to get set!) then recruit your colleagues (infectious biting optional) to your cause.

Zombie Deaduate Class of 2009
Are you at a big school? Do you think you could muster firends, teachers and parents to help raise money for charity and have some serious fun together? It's a great way to get people together and do something as a group that doesn't involve being at school!
To arrange to have someone come to your school and teach the Thriller Dance, email info@ttw09toronto.com!

Themed Zombie Group
Entering with a group of friends or unfortunate victims? Co-ordinate!
All you have to do is turn up on the night in your spattered garments. Be creative with your look, try to do something funny, topical or just plain weird!
